Eights! 01
Hi everyone, it's Adelicya here. I'm one of your new mods. I'll be taking over Graphics, Alphabet Soup and Questing. I'm also introducing a new game today! It will be biweekly and be sure to read all the rules before posting. You may also ask questions in the Questions/Comments below.I hope everyone will enjoy it!

In order to break the Curse of the Rainbow, Verde has been following the rumors of some ancient puzzle boxes, created at the same time as the Tri-ni-sette, that may hold the cure for their infant states. He has been looking for these boxes. However, each box can only be opened by solving the puzzle. Try as he might, Verde could not break the code and open the box. And so he has sent the box to the Vongola Headquaters, in hopes that with Vongola Decimo's Hyper Intuition and the Storm Guardian's intellect, they can open the box and perhaps one of them may hold the cure.
Row 1=Students, bring me cards featuring students

Row 2=Males, bring cards featuring males

Row 3=Females, bring cards featuring females

Row 4=Athletes, bring cards featuring athletes

Combining their efforts, Tsuna and Gokudera has determined that the puzzle resembles a board for Eights, a card game where the first person to get rid of all their cards is the winner. Following the logic, it seems that one must put in the correct cards to open the box. Four cards, all with the number 8 are embedded in the puzzle, though no other cards are provided. There are a total of 56 slots and 15 slots per row. However, Tsuna's intuition tells him that you guys, the members of Himitsu, can some how help them.
The rules of Eights are as follows, please pay attention to all five rules:
(1) 4 cards, all #8 cards, will be chosen by the randomizer and placed into four rows. You may PLAY A CARD FOR ANY ROW, one row does not need to be finished to start the next. Each row HAS A SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT you must follow in order to make a valid play.
---For Example
---Row 1=Anger, give me cards featuring characters with angry faces
---Row 2=Warm Colors, give me cards with a red, orange, yellow, brown, pink border
(2) The card you play MUST BE SEQUENTIAL TO THE LAST VALID CARDS PLAYED for each row and NO DUPLICATE NUMBERS for each row. So say that the starting card #8 is played, you may play a #7 or a #9 that fits the requirement for that row. You can not play a #6 or #10 card since neither #7 nor #9 has been played. Neither can you play a #8 card since it has already been played. So the last cards played will always be the #1 and #15 cards.
---For Example
---Row 1: 8
---Row 2: 7|8
-----Row 2 #6 or #9 card = Valid, as a card #7 and #8 fitting the requirement has been played
-----Row 1 #6 card = Invalid, as a card #7 fitting the requirement has NOT been played
(3) All cards played MUST BE SINGLE CARDS. Any other cards (puzzles/specials) will not fit the puzzle! But for each single card played, I'll give you 3 cards in return. The maximum amount of plays you may make is 2 PLAYS PER WEEK (4 plays total) and you must have AT LEAST 4 COMMENTS BETWEEN EACH PLAY. If the puzzle is finished, everyone who participated with get 2 extra cards.
(4) IF your play is invalid, please make a new thread when you try again. This makes it easier for me!
(5) Use this form to make a play if you so wish:
The new week starts January 30.
This round closes February 6.
This round is CLOSED.
