my favourite retro video game series is probably legend of zelda! all the ones that count for it anyway; they were my first introduction to rpgs, and while i never really played them myself at the time, it was more than enough fun watching my brother do so! i did revisit them when i was older and... actually understood what was going on, and i still appreciated them just as much. they'll always hold a special place in my heart!
