what i really love about himitsu is how easy it is to get involved. at previous tcgs i felt like it was impossible for me to ever assimilate or have enough cards to trade with players that actually had stuff i wanted to collect. it was overwhelming and hard to have fun. maybe i'm biased since i've been here from the beginning but i feel like new players really have a chance to give themselves a leg up! which is way better than leaving them to struggle for scraps, if that makes sense.

another thing i love is the variety of interests represented by all the decks we have so far. it's funny because you can tell by looking at people's trade piles and the grabby hands page what characters and series are popular with the playerbase and which ones aren't. there are first release cards that are still hard to come by because so many people love them! and then you have the poor demonic cards, unloved and abandoned. when i first started donating more obscure megaten decks i worried i'd be the only one collecting them but it turns out we have some oldsona/SMT fans who have been making decks too and i'm glad to not see my babies all abandoned in trade piles. when you donate decks of things you like, you can meet new friends who like those things too! which, in the end, is the best part of tcg-ing in general. and with himitsu it's even better because i haven't met a single person who isn't kind and generous. :)
