Hi, everyone! Once a week, I'm going to give you a topic. All players need to do is give their opinions/stories/comments on said topic. There's nothing really formal about this, but you'll get cards for answering regardless. There's no requirement about how big or detailed of an answer you give, but try to avoid one word answers! This week's topic is WINTER ANIME.

I'm.. sort of excited for Yuri Kuma? Or rather, I was, but now I've heard such weird mixed things that I'm not sure how to feel until I see it myself. But at least it's by the Penguindrum writer, so technically there should be something good about it..

At least I'm excited for Sailor Moon Crystal to go into the Black Moon arc, that counts for something, right..

i thought it was Okay, but i'm mostly watching it out of thirst for yuri & because of morishima's art tbh

YURI KUMA ARASHI AND ASSASSINATION CLASSROOOOOOooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmm ヽ(ｏ`皿′ｏ)ﾉ

I watched first ep of yurikuma today and goshhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I adore Ikuhara and have been waiting so long I'm sososooo pumped to see more AND ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM IS JUST SO GREAT ALL AROUND HECK I'm so pleased with everything we've gotten to see so far I get all (JITTERY EXCITEMENT) every time I think about it. ANIMATED KOROSENSEI i'm ready. I'm ready.

I'm also PRETTY DARN excited for Rolling Girls. It looks super duper cute and I'm reeeeeeally diggin the style. AND Ari Ozawa is in it, and I've really been wanting to hear her in more stuff since Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun!

AND OF COURSE STARDUST CRUSADERS 2 a lot of my fave parts of part 3 will be animated this part and i'm SO PUMPED.

those first two are also on my list! i really need to get around to watching a jojo one day tho

i cannot believe drrr s2 starts in a few days wtf. i hate so many of the characters but the good ones keep me interested so i'm gonna have to watch it.

and i have no idea what yurikuma's about but i think i'm legally obligated to watch if i want to stay friends w grace and lala lmao

i hope the s2 adaption is good and your faves are around a lot!

AMAZINGLY THERES ACTUALLY SOMETHING... despite being on this website I rarely ever watch new anime im super picky and also lazy. BUT #YuriKumaArashi or bust. Ikuhara is like ... he gets it.. what I need what my heart needs what the world needs. I love him and I love Morishima. as a desperate gay gal looking for something cute and not bad out there she's rlly gotten me through some rough times. Also like yes I'm so ready for this show because sometimes yuri is the roughest time and I love it but im ready for them to do their number on this overwhelmingly unrealistic and trope filled genre. PLUS I LOVE MIHO ARAKAWA !!?!? last year I got into dangan ronpa and penguindrum and she just stole my heart I'm so happy... I watched ep 1 and the art is so gorgeous uuuggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i'm dead af. (rambles endlessly)

I LOVE MORISHIMA her art is so cute and it's always nice to have yuri manga w/ adult characters. it makes me pretty happy knowing a gay woman is involved with an (yuri) anime, too, thx for collaborating w/ her ikuhara.

Sob I haven't even caught up on last season's anime... But, here are the things coming this winter that look cool:
- Death Parade
- Rolling☆Girls
- Seiken Tsukai no World Break

I feel kinda unsure yet interested in all of these so IDK who knows if I will actually watch anything in the end. |D

i hope they turn out good! world break's seiyuu list looks great, dang

I'm really bad at keeping up with currently-airing series of any kind so I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it this time but I'm really excited for Kamisama Hajimemashita season 2! I watched the first episode today and it was really cute. I'm so glad they got Hanae to do the opening and ending again she's so good...

also definitely Yuri Kuma Arashi, though I haven't watched it yet... I might wait until there's a bunch out and watch it all at once.

kamisama looks super cute (especially that new op omg). i need to watch the first season, but my anime backlog is ridiculous. ;_;

i'm also looking forward to im@s: cinderella girls TT_TT and tokyo ghoul. also that one anime with the magical boys...binan koukou chikyuu bouei-bu Love ? it looks kinda silly but i might watch it. death parade looks interesting too! i'm thinking of giving it a chance

I forget the name of it right now, but that Magical Boys anime. And more Sailor Moon, because I love that little pink mini moon :D

other than that, i'm going to try yuri kuma arashi, though i've heard mixed things about it... please pull through for me ikuhara... the art looks really cute too so at least there's that. i just don't want another sakura trick or w/e the name of that anime was b/c it was gross

OH YEAH i also gotta catch up on aldnoah.zero and i'm so ready for the new drrr!! and i wanna see rolling girls too...i guess i have a lot to watch

have yall watched the magical boy anime? like... it's such a guilty pleasure for me and that one guy looks just like nagisa i'm deaded
i'm so behind with AC but the anime looks good so i think i'll try that later. tokyo ghoul too since kaneki being animated into his badass form is what i need on my life right now

THE AC ANIME'S OP IS SO CUTE i need to watch the first ep. i hope the other adaptions/sequels are good for ya!

i'm that loser who always picks a bunch of things to watch every season, but more often than not most things turn out to be boring LMAO so while i'm curious about a lot of shows, there isn't usually a lot i'm actually looking forward to...

what i AM actually looking forward to is kamisama hajimemashite s2, rolling girls, and aldnoah.zero s2. kamisama because it's cute and i liked the first season a lot, rolling girls because it also looks cute, and a.z because i can't wait to see where this trainwreck goes. i'd also say i'm looking forward to jojo's but i need to finish the first part of the part 3 anime... oops.

i used to do that every season too but i think i've given up lmao ;_; anime... kamisama looks sooo cute, i need to get on that

I've been looking forward to yuri kuma arashi! My friends are all big ikuhara fans and the character designs and morishima's art are both so lovely... I'm interested to see how it progresses after watching the first ep :o

Not to mention ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM...I've been waiting on this foreverrr I love the manga so I'm beyond happy it got greenlit for an anime.
Other than that I'd like to see how Cinderella Girls anime turns out since I love im@s, and Rolling☆Girls + Death Parade also seem kinda compelling so there are those too!! Go! Princess Precure is staring me in the face and reminding me that I need to start the precure series (sweating)

idk how to feel about the about the magical boy anime because the concept's like yeahhhh but judging from what I've seen so far I don't have high hopes for it lmao

i enjoyed the second episode more than the first (of yurikuma). so much gay, so much bear. SAME RE: cinderella girls and precure!! i'll definitely start the franchise with princess this time, their designs are so cute

I haven't been keeping up with the anime seasons lately but honestly I'm excited to find out what they put in for the season 2 of aldnoah.zero and the season 2 drrr since it's been so long I didn't expect there to be a second season at all!! That's pretty much it for me but yurikuma arashi and assination classroom caught my attention too since many people are talking about it :0 I guess I'll just wait and see~

Ill watch pre-exsisting things, like Precure and Jojo. Outside of that, I doubt I'll watch these shows. Yoru no Yatterman peaked my interest, because I do like Yatterman, but I don't think it will be the same. Everything else doesn't look like something i wanna get into. not really my interest.

at least you'll be mostly free from animu hell. i don't know much about yatterman, but i hope this new series is enjoyable for all the fans of the originals!

I don't think there's anything I'm looking forward to... In all honesty, I have no idea what's coming out!

i always check what's coming out with livechart, anichart, and mahou.org. maybe you'll find something that looks neat?

I had no idea what was on the list for this winter until I clicked the link! I'm always seduced first by art style, and most of these look like they have styles I'd enjoy, but I'd need to watch a few episodes of each to figure out if I wanted to stick with them or not. I'm also a swords-and-sorcery kind of person so anime with that stuff attracts me more than others (I enjoy slice-of-life/school shows but they're more awesome with a fantasy element to them!).

Looking at these choices though it seems like the Winter of Idols.

what we need is anime idols that fight with swords and magic tbh ~~well there's symphogear i guess but.~~ here's hoping the series that caught your eye turn out to be your kinda Thing.

Im only watching Aldnoah.Zero season 2 this season. I'm looking forward to how they're even going to explain the ending of the first season LMFAO ...

i haven't watched s1 but the spoilers i saw for it and now s2 are so ?????? I HOPE IT'S GOOD...

haha oh gosh i barely keep up with new anime, i'm working on getting through samurai flamenco right now. normally i just wait to see what gets popular after new stuff comes out and if it looks interesting i'll add it to my to watch list. that will probably end up getting watched in 3 years lmao.

OH looking at this list now, someone on tumblr was recommending checking out Death Parade, i might do that since it looks interesting.

I KNOW THIS FEEL.. my own plan-to-watch list is so ridiculous.

DURARARA x2 SHOU!!
I literally clapped when I watched the first episode yesterday ~~I embrace my inner dork~~. I am so excited to see all the characters back and some really interesting new characters. I missed these babies so much.

The rest of the season just seems like background noise to me right now because...Durarara. But I think I might try out a couple of other series, like Juuou Mujin no Fafnir.
