Hi, everyone! Once a week, I'm going to give you a topic. All players need to do is give their opinions/stories/comments on said topic. There's nothing really formal about this, but you'll get cards for answering regardless. There's no requirement about how big or detailed of an answer you give, but try to avoid one word answers! (This is about talking, after all)

This week's topic is LIGHT NOVELS.

A question you could answer (but are not limited/required to) is what is your favourite light novel?

You'll get 2 regular cards and 1 puzzle card for commenting. Prizes will be distributed throughout the week and this game ends on Tuesday, July 29th at 11:59 MST.

I LOVE LIGHT NOVELS but my favourite is definitely nisemonogatari. the writing is so WEIRD that i just love it, fanservice and such aside, lmao. i'm such a sucker for side material, too—even if it's not considered a light novel, i'll try and get my hands on it somehow...

I DON'T READ LIGHT NOVELS but uhh i think i read part of a black blood brothers ln once so that one.

i've never read it but i randomly bought the first dvd box when i was younger and had no idea what to get into when it came to anime

...i should go watch the rest of it now

at first i was like, "but i don't read light novels", but then i remembered that i've read a grand total of one! i read the fate/strange fake and loved the hell out of it... i wish it were longer though, i felt very bamboozled by the end of it Q_Q 99 questions and not a single answer

although i think i might try reading the legend of legendary heroes series since my friend translates the light novels! but down that path lie cannibals and suffering...

So does it count if I say novels I haven't read because I like the anime adaptation? I actually don't think the Monogatari novels are light novels ANYWAY, so I guess I'll just go with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya! Since... I own them all. I've still only read the first one though because I am terrible.

AFAIK the monogatari books are classed as light novels (they're my favourites.......) and haruhi is a good choice!
