Welcome to DISCUSSION!

Hi, everyone! Once a week, I'm going to give you a topic. All players need to do is give their opinions/stories/comments on said topic. There's nothing really formal about this, but you'll get cards for answering regardless. There's no requirement about how big or detailed of an answer you give, but try to avoid one word answers! (This is about talking, after all)

This week's topic is HALLOWEEN COSTUMES.

A question you could answer (but are not limited/required to) is Have you ever dressed up for Halloween? IF YOU HAVEN'T, BY THE WAY, IT'S TOTALLY COOL. You'll get cards for talking about any sort of costumes that seem spooky or the like, so no worries.

You'll get 2 regular cards and 1 puzzle card for commenting. Prizes will be distributed throughout the week and this game ends on Tuesday, October 8th.

I dressed up when I was younger. I've never been anything particularly creepy, though. One time I dressed up as a witch...but considering how overweight I was, I think I was more funny than scary.

I've always wanted to be a vampire for Halloween, to be honest.

i haven't dressed up since freshman year of college when my dorm had a halloween party... i was some sort of samurai lady. i actually really like dressing up now that i feel more confident about it but i didn't want to go to the only halloween party i've been invited to so who knows when i will actually get to again. i wasn't much of a spooky costumes person, i was always princesses and stuff when i was younger, and then just sort of grew out of it for a long time/my parents wouldn't let me trick-or-treat anymore LMAO.

Cute banner...

I dressed up when I was younger! My mom made a couple of super complicated costumes for me, like Link from the Legend of Zelda and Sakura from CCS, both things I was obsessed with. And I also went in a bunch of store bought costumes, but those were probably the ones that stick out as my favorites. I never dressed up in everything creepy though. Weeaboo until the end.

Oh goodness, I used to LOVE dressing up for Halloween. I still do honestly, I just don't since we don't really do anything anymore. :I
I don't know why, I want to dress up this year now!
Haha.

I've been a clown, a cat, a demon, etc. Basically every generic thing ever.

no because we don't celebrate halloween over here LMFAO and i don't go to any parties so it's very much just an american thing. we rarely even trick or treat. though the most halloween-ish thing i did was go to a theme park after dark and enter their haunted houses/went on rides in the dark. that was super fun!!

i liked wearing those cute princess dresses as a kid for halloween...HOW EMBARRASSING.......... The magician outfits with long robes were my favorites. They felt like pajamas to me idk it was so comfortable. If I had to dress up again i'd stick with a magician

yes i loved dressing up for halloween when i was a kid! my neighborhood was pretty active as a far as trick-or-treaters go, so there was always a lot of candy to be had haha... when i was really young i usually dressed up as like disney princesses or so. when i was 7 i dressed up as a witch, and even though the costume wasn't super elaborate or anything, i think that was my favorite costume.

i had a fucking broom okay shit felt like kiki's delivery service........

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I dressed up almost every year as a kid, and every year since freshman year of high school to now (junior year of college). I remember as a kid going as a clown, a dalmatian, scream,a vampire, a brain surgeon (brain included). My costumes as I got older got more elaborate because while I suck at everyday makeup I love costume makeup. So zombies with zippers for eyes, with an eye stapled shut, a scary clown, a chick with bugs coming out of her neck. Zombie is usually my go to easy to do makeup-wise costume. freshman year of college I was a zombie with a gaping flesh wound around 1 eye. Last year I mutilated a poor teddy bear and arranged its carcass on my face along with a purple wig and a bite wound as a were-bear of some sort. This year I'm actually just gonna recycle a costume from a con and go as Lumpy Space Princess because I'm just too lay to think of something else, unless at the last minute I'm just struck with awe for an awesome easy costume. Omg, I wrote so much...I'm such a nerd for Halloween.

I love Halloween. That's because I love to cosplay. I have so many costumes that it's hard for me to pick which one I want to wear. This year, I have no idea what to even dress as. I might do a lazy version of Mink from Dramatical Murder and go to a haunted house or something.

it's just too bad that my Mondo won't be done in time.

I have dressed up a few times, but after a while I just went out with my family for events. I always wanted to get one of those grotesque mask though! I think they are really cool, especially if you can find a really neat looking one! By one of my houses, there is an all year long halloween store that is two floors! I think one day ill go in and buy a really cool costume ^o^ I do love Halloween though! I think the right person can pull off an amazing outfit!

I HAVEN'T.. but it's more since it's not as much of a thing over here. we have halloween parties by now, but that's more for teens and all and not kids dressing up and trick or treating i was always so jealous of american kids when i was younger!! we dress up for carnival though i was a witch for that once.. that counts, right.. i won an award for my devil costume during that once!!!

Halloween chronically makes me wish I was a little kid again... it's more socially acceptable for a kid or young teen to go out trick or treating (it's not about the candy!) than it is for an adult to do it without children around. I always found it really, really fun to dress up and go door to door, if nothing more than to see who had what candy and what their decorations looked like. But I definitely do love the dressing up part!

And all of Halloween... This has nothing to do with costumes, but I always keep the best looking Halloween decorations out all year round. In my room. I have a nice skull collection going teehee.

only as a kid, sadly. my costumes were never spooky, just cute or strange for the most part (i wasn't allowed to be a witch one year and... had to wear a 50's girl costume. it had a poodle on the skirt.) i've never found any halloween costumes to be very spooky or scary, honestly.

When I was younger, yeah! Disney princesses, an angel, feminine costumes likes that. I think my first-ever costume was a pumpkin? I also remember being a witch, a ballerina, and Lunette the clown from The Big Comfy Couch when I was little!

I looooove Halloween, including dressing up! When I was in elementary/high school I dedicated my Halloweens to being 'scary' things (ghost vampire skeleton alien etc); in college we always had Halloween parties in anime club so I got to wear cosplays instead. The year we watched Baccano! a bunch of us wore cosplay from it or Baccano-era-esque dress at least, which made for a great picture.

I quit trick-or-treating at an early age because EVERYONE IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD GIVES SHITTY CANDY :(

I don't remember what I dressed up as during Halloween but I'm pretty sure I never tried going as anything 2spooky.

I'm really just in it for the candy they start selling at supermarkets.

i dressed up when i was younger, up until the point i stopped going trick or treating. near the end of my high school years i started wanting to dress up again though, but that never bore fruit...

also ot but some of the children's costumes they have on sale in recent years are pretty frightening, like. hot police officer/vampire outfits?! what even --
