Discussion 33

Ahhh I keep dropping the ball on Discussion, my bad. This week was pretty hectic irl. But here's the new round!

Welcome to DISCUSSION!

Hi, everyone! Once a week, I'm going to give you a topic. All players need to do is give their opinions/stories/comments on said topic. There's nothing really formal about this, but you'll get cards for answering regardless. There's no requirement about how big or detailed of an answer you give, but try to avoid one word answers! (This is about talking, after all)

This week's topic is REMAKES.

A question you could answer (but are not limited/required to) do you wish one of your favorite shows or games would get a remake? Or are you tired of the 4985345 old movies currently getting remade right now and wish they'd make something original? Do you actually like any remakes better than the original? Or is there a specific remake you wish had never happened?

You'll get 2 regular cards and 1 puzzle card for commenting. Prizes will be distributed throughout the week and this game ends on Saturday, May 9th to make up for me being late again, though the next round will HOPEFULLY be up on its proper day Thursday.

I really don't like remakes when it comes to animes. For every good remake (like the Z Gundam movies), there are a crap load of horrible remakes (like the Gatchaman 1994 OVAs). It always seems that my favorite series always get the bad remakes.

I really prefer for companies to leave old series alone if they can. I remember Tomino Yoshiyuki wanting to do a remake of and pitched Sunrise the remake for Space Runaway Ideon a couple of years back. Even though I like the Be Invoked movie, I would like to see a more corrected ending like what Tomino did the Z Gundam movies.

When it comes to video games, I like remakes if they add something to it as long as it doesn't alter the plot line too much.
