Come on, Himitsu, let's go trick or treating!

In honour of me being a lazy shit AGAIN and skipping out on my games for a week, here's some repayment. In a pixel hunt, go to the Himitsu site and locate nine halloween pixels. Click them to knock of the door and receive your candy for trick or treating.

There are nine different pixels in nine different areas. The last pixel is a little harder to find, but offers the biggest reward! Also, just log your rewards on your own page, don't post them here.

This game will close November 2nd!

A little mage has visited Himitsu...she has something to say to you all! But first, she has two wishes to grant. This one is from Gigi:

Everyone gets choice cards that spell PUMPKIN.

No two cards from the same deck but they can be any type! Please log these as Spell Casting 07 (Wish 2): or something to that effect.

Hello, Himitsu players! I'm feeling charitable, so I'll tell you what. Leave your wishes with me, and I'll find a couple that I can grant, okay?

You heard her! Leave a wish related to the TCG here and she will try to grant two. Wishes can be anything related to the TCG with few stipulations. You can only post one wish a round and they can't be too crazy.

Examples:
GOOD WISH: Everyone gets choice cards spelling WISH, Everyone gets two random pencils, Everyone gets two choice special cards, I want a special round of [ game ] next week, etc
BAD WISH: Everyone gets ten extra release slots this release, I get five choice cards of each type, grant five wishes, etc

Still, feel free to be creative!

On the next post, the mage will reveal the wishes she could grant (which will be randomized; skipping over wishes too crazy to grant). Not all wishes will be granted, so feel free to post the same wish the next round if yours isn't granted! When you see what wishes are granted, just log the wish rewards as the previous round's number.

This game will end two weeks from now on the 2nd!

At Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples in Japan, one will often find a site to purchase an omikuji, or a random fortune, for a small price. They hope to draw a blessing for the future, rather than a curse. Those who do draw a cursed slip tie it to a tree in hopes of negating their poor fortune ahead. But those who are blessed have much to look forward to... or so they say.

Maybe you're not superstitious, but a small offering will appease the Himitsu gods and maybe even grant you a blessing! But our omikuji will be slightly kinder than the ones at shrines. Anyway, here's how the game works:

1 card will buy you 1 fortune, so it must be a single card. You can only buy 1 fortune per round. Your fortune will be determined by a randomizer. Simple enough, right? Here are the possible results:

大吉 (daikichi, "great blessing") - 8 random candies
中吉 (chuukichi, "average blessing") - 6 random candies
小吉 (shoukichi, "small blessing") - 4 random candies
半吉 (hankichi, "half-blessing") - 2 random candies
半凶 (hankyou), "half-curse") - You don't win anything... but you do get to keep the card you used to buy your fortune. Basically, nothing happens. :,)
凶 (kyou, "curse") - You don't win anything, and you lose the card you used to purchase your fortune. :(
大凶 (daikyou, "great curse") - You don't win anything, you lose the card you used to purchase your fortune, and the next time you play, your entry will cost you an extra card. Bummer! Better tie that puppy to the nearest tree for better luck next time.

The cards used to purchase fortunes will all go into the Grabby Hands pile (unless you draw the half-curse fortune). If you drew a great curse in the last round you played in, please note that in your comment; we'll operate on the honor system since I will forget after awhile. :)

This round will end October 22nd at 6:00PM EST.

It looks like Inuyasha is causing some trouble for poor Ranma... Well, while they get it sorted out, can you help me? I'm thinking of this old series but I can't remember its name...

Throwback Thursday (or #tbt) commemorates the anime, manga, and games of yore. (Yore = original debut in 2001 or earlier.) Based on the provided clue, can you tell me the title of what I'm thinking of and its original Japanese release year? I'll give you 3 random single cards for your trouble!
This game is the first in a series of Japanese survival horror games. The protagonist is searching for her brother in a haunted mansion after he goes missing. As the game progresses she discovers that the mansion is haunted by a vengeful spirit who kidnapped her brother because of his strong resemblance to the spirit's dead lover. The protagonist must rescue her brother from clutches of evil and free the spirit of her woe.

This round will end October 23rd at 4:00PM EST.

Last round's answer: Hellsing, released in 1997.

Welcome to Yayoi's Closet! Even though she has a serious appearance, Yayoi Hakudou really loves to cosplay. And every week, her assistant Shea Moon will pull some outfits out of her closet for her to try on. There's just one problem -- Shea's only a snake, so he can't recognize what series they come from or who the characters are. If you can help Yayoi and Shea with their cosplay every week, you can earn some prizes!

this week's outfits are behind here! )

Whoa, what a stunning turn of events this is! It isn't every day that the famous Kaitou Kid asks for help from his adoring and dedicated fans. It seems the flashy thief is preparing for a future heist and needs help figuring out who he should disguise as. I guess even the most experienced Master of Disguise needs assistance with his costumes sometimes!

For this game, Kaitou Kid will give you the location of his next heist, along with a set of three requirements for his costume. One requirement will be mandatory, while the other two will be optional. Your job is to find a picture of a character who at minimum fits the mandatory requirement. But if you find one that fits the two optional requirements as well, you'll receive even more prizes in thanks!

Please try to submit single character images only, instead of group shots! If you can't, however, group images will be accepted as long as you specify which character in it you're using. Each character may only be used once, but each series may be used multiple times.

Today's heist location is. . .

Drumroll please )
